Summer Sings, a favorite summer activity for singers from all over the region, is moving from July to the first three Wednesdays in August!
The community sings will be held once again in the air-conditioned Moriarty Arts Auditorium on the PCC Cascade Campus (705 N Killingsworth St, Portland, OR 97217) from 7p.m. – 9:30 p.m. If you love to sing great choral music, please join us for these fun community sings! We provide the music scores for use during the sing (guaranteed for everyone that purchases tickets in advance); you sing along with members of the Portland Symphonic Choir. Cookies and bottled water are offered before the sing and during intermission for $1 each.
Bring your friends and family and have a fun evening singing great music – or feel free to sit back and listen as you are surrounded by a room of singers!
August 2 – Dr. Paul Klemme, Vaughan Williams
August 9 – Dr. Giselle Wyers, Brahms’ Requiem
August 16 – Dr. Dwight Uphaus, Bruckner Mass in E Minor
Tickets are on sale now – Buy early and get the bundle deal: $25 for all three sings, otherwise tickets are just $10 each sing. Purchase now at summersings.bpt.me
