Remember that you can now view/share our Wintersong concert with folks by clicking on the main page of our website (link) (scroll down the page a little). The livestream will only be available for 30 days due to the broadcast agreement with the local musician's union.

Please note that our upcoming rehearsal schedule is attached to today's Noteworthy News.

Our Health & Safety Committee has agreed that based on current conditions, we may all rehearse the Beethoven together in Geneva Hall when we resume singing in January. Of course, the health-check routine and wearing of masks will still be necessary. These next few weeks are a perfect time to roll up your sleeve for "boosters over the break." Several of our fellow PSC members have taken advantage of a walk-in clinic at LeCare Pharmacy near Trader Joes in the Hollywood District (Map). They all report only a minimal wait, super organization, and out the door in a matter of minutes.

From Claire: I am planning a "survey" to go in the December 31 Noteworthy News asking to verify contact information. Several of you have commented that your email address, phone number, and/or mailing address has changed. This will be the time to easily let me know that updated information. Also, I received information from the FPC about the wonderful success of our "Winterclothes for Wintersong" donations. Everything was taken to Rose Haven this week and included:

1 pair of cozy slippers

10 Coats

10 Scarves

20 Hats

24 Sets of Gloves

and

149 Pairs of Socks!

From Alissa and Wendy: It was such a joy to share the gift of music with our Portland community last weekend! Thank you for your hard work, focus, positive attitudes, and expressive singing – we could not be more proud of this choir and all we have achieved this Wintersong. We received excellent feedback from both our in-person and online audience members – everyone fully enjoyed the variety of music and your choral expertise. On top of great performances, we collected many donations for “Winterclothes for Wintersong” and received a healthy amount of monetary donations for the Choir. Again, thank you for persevering through masks, distancing, separate rehearsals, and a new performance space with grace and good humor. Your efforts provided great comfort and joy to hundreds of people this season.

Have a wonderful holiday!

No Noteworthy News on December 24. Enjoy the break (get boosted!).
