Virtual Sing: Monday, June 15 social time begins at 6:45 with warmups at 7 pm. We will be using Zoom with access code  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84875891208?pwd=dUZIK2N4dWQ0cy8xTWg3cWJxT0l2UT09

Update on our 3 projects: the Biebl Ave Maria, is now "chugging along" in the editing phase. It is now too late to submit additional video or audio recordings. The Rheinberger, Abendlied, will be rehearsed Monday, aiming for individual recordings by the end of June. Lift Every Voice and Sing is our β€œnew” piece. Please see Wendy's notes regarding this important project. We plan to include a copy of the new arrangement in Monday's reminder email from Jayde. Please watch for it and take a moment to print a copy for your use during the rehearsal. (Pencil markings are much easier that way).

From Wendy: I am so grateful that Marilyn Keller was able to join us last Monday. I would encourage you to listen to the rehearsal recording (link to PSC website) click on Members, pswd= pschoir, then Virtual Rehearsals. Marilyn joins us at 43:10. Her words and singing are so inspirational. This coming Monday, Dorcas Smith from the Brown Sisters will be joining us. Dorcas is writing a new arrangement of Lift Every Voice and Sing and will be teaching it to us. Dorcas is an incredible musician and will be the soloist on our virtual recording. We will also have several new guest singers joining us Monday. Even though it is awkward on Zoom, I know we will warmly welcome them. We are doing this project as an expression of solidarity and support, using the greatest resource we have -- our voices!

From Alissa: Mark your calendars for the next Deeterabend, June 28, 3:00 at the DeeterHaus und studio. Anyone interested in singing should be in touch with me (alissa@pschoir.org).
