Noteworthy News, October 2nd

As is our custom during the "regular" season, the first section of Noteworthy News will alway be the next handful of official PSC events that Choir members may participate in. Only rehearsals "count" on attendance record keeping for a member to be exempt from voice check (re-audition) for the 2021-22 season. This information is also available via our online calendar within the website (pschoir.org/members) with a link to add the calendar to your Smartphone and/or Google calendar.

Our first rehearsal for Wintersong is this coming Monday, October 5. Here is the Link for the Zoom Meeting. Our directors (Alissa and Wendy) will be sharing information early in the rehearsal regarding what music will be prepared for Wintersong as well as an overview for the "virtual concert." Please note the 4 pieces attached to this Noteworthy News. You may want to download and print them for your use and convenience in making performance markings. From Alissa: I need more photos and clippings for our Legacy Project. Even items from our more recent history are welcome as they too eventually become "historical." Please share them via the Legacy Project Upload button on the Member page of the website (pswd=pschoir). This year's Wintersong concert will include many images from the Choir's history that will be shown with various seasonal recordings from past PSC performances. Questions? From Wendy: Our Lift Every Voice project is still available for viewing on YouTube and our website. Please share this wonderful project with your friends and family. Our Board of Directors has decided that it is worth the additional time and exposure to extend the donation time as net proceeds go to Don't Shoot Portland. Here's the link for donations to this worthwhile cause.
