The November 1st rehearsal is required attendance for Choir members singing in the Bocelli Concert. It will be our last time to review our part in the upcoming performance at the Moda Center.

From our Artistic Leaders: By popular request, our pre-rehearsal warmup/technique time is back! If you have the time and inclination, our optional warmup will be upstairs in the Whitman room at FPC. This Monday, we will be giving special attention to "singing past the mask."

Our rehearsal plan is attached below.

Bocelli: Our last rehearsal for the concert is Monday night -- our last chance to kick this repertoire through the goal posts before we go onstage at the Moda Center and sing for 18 - 20,000 adoring fans. If you are still struggling with language, notes, rhythms, and etcetera, please use the materials in Study Resources on the Membership Page of our website to work out any bugaboos or uncertainties. If you are not confident in your part, you have work to do before Monday.

From Claire: Bocelli musicians are required by the show's production company, Gelb Productions, to provide a negative COVID-19 test on the day of the concert. The approved test kits will be provided at our rehearsal on Monday, November 1 for each of us to take home and use the day of the concert. For proper timing, the test must be administered on Thursday morning, November 4th. Each kit comes with instructions. Additionally, a reminder email and instructional video on how to properly complete the test will be sent prior to Thursday. Due to the testing requirements, any PSC member who can not attend the required rehearsal on Monday, November 1st and provide a negative COVID19 test result on Thursday, November 4th will not be allowed to participate in the concert.

Parking is provided in the "Aegean Lot" near the river and immediately west of the Moda Center (Link to map). Please plan to be in the Moda Center wearing your concert black attire by 3:45 to quickly warm up before the sound check at 4:00. We have received NO information regarding changing rooms or storage "boxes" so we must assume there won't be any. Please travel light! Dinner is provided at 6 with "appropriate COVID spacing." The calltime for us to be on-stage is 7:30. Remember to bring your official Singer's mask and music (clipped into the black, 3-ring folder).
